Atmaneyam Charitable Trust was founded by the couple Mohan and Janaki along with their sons Nandakumar and Siddharth Mohan with the primary goal to provide medical care and nutritional food for the needy, offer educational assistance to the needed children and empower women to be self-sufficient.
Inspired by Mother Teresa’s unparalleled service to individuals affected by leprosy, an infection everyone wanted eradicated, Mohan Srinivasan and Janaki Mohan (couple from Boston, MA, USA) along with their sons Nandakumar Mohan and Siddharth Mohan wanted to follow her example and take on tuberculosis eradication and HIV care.
